THIS WEEK’S UPDATE

Why Tesla Is the Car Apple WOULD Have Made

For the last week, I’ve been driving to and from London (multiple times) in the newly-updated Tesla Model 3 Long Range. And when I say ā€œnewly updatedā€, I mean a bunch of small visual tweaks to the interior and exterior, some improvements to efficiency, and the return of the indicator stalk. No, really.

There’s more to the update than that, obviously, but the only thing most people are focusing on is the return of the indicator stalk. Which is silly, but expected - this is the internet, after all. But what’s far more interesting to me is what the Model 3 feels like. More specifically, who’s it feels like. Horrible grammar, but let me explain.

I’ve driven a few Teslas now (and have a car review channel, don’t you know…), but it’s taken me a while to realise that these four-wheeled appliances (and I mean that in the nicest possible way, I promise), are basically the cars Apple would have made, if the whole Project Titan thing hadn’t been canned. Allegedly. In this week’s Tech Diary video, I dive into this theory a little bit more…

Bose QC Ultra 2 After 2 Months – Regret or Recommend?

As far as product updates go, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2 leans heavily towards the ā€˜Has anything actually changed?’ end of the spectrum on the face of it. These were already pretty perfect headphones, but has Bose managed to squeeze out any more juice?

YES, THERE’S MORE…

The Rest Of The Week

Apple Watches are great. But when you want a smartwatch that really dives deep into specific areas like exercise, then you can’t get much better than this one →

I’ve never used a portable router before, nor a remote access system, but I think I’m a convert after trying these →

TIP OF THE WEEK

iOS 26.1: Custom workouts šŸ‘‰

You can now create fully personalised workouts directly in the Fitness app on your iPhone, choosing everything from workout type and duration to intensity, estimated Active Calories, and start time. Earlier versions only allowed rigid templates, but iOS 26.1 removes those limits, giving you the freedom to design routines that match your exact training style and goals.
